ENERGY - The Transformation Challenge

This is my entry for the Transformation challenge.

I used a black ball-pen, then added background and frame on Photoshop. It took me about 2 days to complete. 
I thought about something I love - hummingbirds. I draw them a lot, often with beaks turning into branches... And then I thought about nature, energy, metamorphosis, modern society and how we try to take advantage of every single thing, no matter how small it is. It is an animal-machine, host-guest transformation.
